Welcome friends to Episode #146 of the Own Your Best Life Podcast. I’m really excited to be sharing with you my conversation with Jenni. She’s been a client of mine over the last several years and even before that a friend since undergrad. You’ll learn about how not getting what we want may be exactly what we need, how she thought about coaching for softer skills like developing intuition, the yes we say when we mean no and the boundaries we learn to create, parenting in a modern and respectful way, thought leadership and more. Enjoy.
Jenni is a Research Senior Principal at one of the world’s largest professional services companies. She publishes thought leadership reports that target c-level audiences in markets outside of the US and Europe, on pressing topics such as how to accelerate private sector growth in the developing green economy. Jenni has also spent 15 years as a technology consultant, helping multinational companies in the US, Singapore, and Australia to implement large-scale IT systems. Today, she lives in Singapore with her husband and their daughter.
On a much more personal note, Jenni has been on a journey of self-inquiry since 2019, which has led her to both breakdowns and a series of breakthroughs. How Jenni is learning to “find herself again” will be the topic of today’s conversation.
Topics we’ll cover include:
- Jenni’s career journey that took her from the US to Singapore.
- What inspired her to get coaching and what helped her succeed even more?
- Lessons learned on her career journey about who she is and what’s changed along the way.
- How she manages to work across multiple content areas and produce content that is considered Thought Leadership.
- Her perspective on leading teams, especially if you are new to the role or a team.
- How she started embodying some of the healthiest habits she currently has today.
- The 3 best pieces of advice Jenni offers for those looking to transform their life.
- What else she sees herself doing for a career in her life and the passions she wants to explore.
- What she’s here to learn and share. Her purpose.
